• Non-Commercial (Reader) Merchandise, Lost & Found, or Pet Ads Only
• Total Dollar Amount of Items in Ads Must Not Be More Than $500
• Price Per Item & Quantity Must Be Included in Ads
• Important for Pet Ads: Pet Ads Must Include Age & Quantity

What is Excluded from Free Ads?

• All for sale or rent homes
• Yard Sales. To place a Yard Sale ad Click Here.
• Items over $500.
• Consumable or regulated items are not permitted.
What are examples of consumable or regulated items not allowed?

• alcohol
• weapons
• paint
• cosmetics
• medical products
• food products
• gift cards
• fireworks
• event tickets such as sport events or music concerts
• pornography
• Words and phrases that are excluded from free ads.
What are examples of consumable or regulated items not allowed?

• New
• brand new
• in box or container
• still in original box or container
• still in plastic
• still in original plastic
• never opened
• with tags
• commercial quality
• see in internet (no websites allowed)
• e-Bay®
• will deliver
• Any words or phrases that creates a sense of urgency such as “must sell” are not allowed with Free Ads.

How Often Can I Run A Free Ad?

• One free ad per household per week
• Limit 3 printings of like items

When Will I See My Ad in the Pennysaver?

• Free ads are processed in the order that they are received and placed in the next available issue in the zone in which you live on a space-available basis. Your free ad will also appear in Pennysaver Wired — it will post to the web at the same time that you normally receive your Pennysaver.

Notice To Customers:

The Pennysaver does not guarantee placement of your ad if the above requirements are not met or incorrect information is submitted. Following PennySaver’s guidelines for Free Ads will expedite the placement of your free ad. Failure to follow the guidelines may delay placing your ad for several weeks or we may not be able to place it at all.
